I’ve posted a number of videos of the bizarre antics caught by the Virtual Railfan camera in Ashland, Virginia. Here’s a compilation of the stuff caught by all their other cameras across the continent. Cool trains, crazy payloads (the Abrams tanks down Main St in La Grange is pretty sweet), private railcars (one looks like it has a vehicle lift on the back and is my new life goal), turbo fires, dumb pedestrians/drivers, and... wait... did someone hit and run a moving cop car?!

Found these through a colab they did with their UK counterparts and it never ceases to amaze me that trains just roll down the street in some places Stateside.

It makes sense when thought about from a historical perspective, these are towns that literally were formed
along and around the railroad tracks, but it’s still bizarre to see.
